The Milford Mattress is designed with a 30cm, 5-zoned pocket spring system. A pocket spring system is created coil systems that are individually wrapped and sewn into the mattress below a comfort layer. It is uniquely designed, allowing for weight distribution variances throughout the mattress on areas that need greater (think head and hips) or less (think feet) support.
The Milford Mattress is finished with synthetic latex foam for ultimate comfort, light feeling bounce and airflow. This creates ultimate comfort with a lesser level of ‘hug’ than memory foam.
Designed seamlessly with air pockets integrated into layers of the foam, ensuring ultimate airflow throughout the top layer.
A textured layer of memory foam with a ridged design of peaks and valleys. This light layer allows for airflow and helps to align the spine and eliminate pressure for a resultful sleep. This in conjunction with our 5-Zone Pocket Spring system provides true ergonomic support while you sleep.

Our Milford Mattress is 30cm in height and is designed to fit all standard NZ bed frame/base sizes (including our range!)

Amazing how the mattress comes rolled up and when you cut the vacuum packed plastic covering off the mattress inflates to a medium to firm one. Important to ensure to place uninflated mattress on your bed before cutting plastic off as mattress was big and quite heavy. Got a base and headboard as well . Instructions to install this were easy to follow. We love our spare bedroom flat pack mattress and base. Saved a lot of time comparing beds at major retailers. Brought online. Economic and effective. Love our new bed buy.

This mattress is wonderful, our previous mattress was old and starting to sag, despite getting a mattress topper to try and fix the issue both my husband and I often woke in pain and tired from disturbed sleep.

Has just the right level of firmness. All winter I had trouble sleeping most nights because of heat. I was worried about going into summer. This mattress is a game changer for me. I am sleeping a lot better. I know that I will have some issues in summer but no where near last year. Also wanted to give a big shout out to all your staff and delivery people. It was super fast and everyone so friendly.

Our Milford Mattress is considered ‘Medium-Firm Firmness’. If you don’t like the feeling of sinking into bed, then this mattress will be perfect for you.
P.S. The Cook is medium firmness, the Tasman is medium firmness.
Yes, all of our mattresses are vacuum pressed, rolled and delivered to your door in a box.
Yes you can. The foam will take a few hours to completely expand but your mattress can be slept on straight away.
Once the mattress is taken out of the box and opened, it will no longer fit back into the box.
A mattress topper or protector is not necessary but will help extend the life of the mattress.
Yes this mattress along with all of our products comes with a 5 year warranty.
