Two great mates who met on the cold streets of North Dunedin, with a passion (like a lot of 19-year-old lads) for sleeping, struck up a conversation about a gap in the market, and from there, The FlatPack Co. was born.
On a mission to deliver the perfect student bed, working countless hours in amongst Castle Street parties and studying hard (naturally) we finally cracked the code. A comfortable, stylish and convenient flat pack bed and mattress all available for next day delivery.
Once products were finalised, we launched The Flatpack Co. in December 2019.
Our values (and team!) have grown with us, giving us a greater focus on sustainable business practices and materials. We’re proud to provide products you’ll want to show off for years to come… I guess you could say we’re going for marriage material furniture, not just a fast Summer fling.
Now, we’re providing flat pack furniture for Kiwis nationwide across Aotearoa, and have set up an HQ in sunny Mt Maunganui with plenty of big plans in the pipeline.
We’re beyond stoked to have been the ones thousands of Kiwis have chosen to spend every night with… it’s truly been a pleasure so far and we can’t wait to keep creating beautiful spaces with you and our flat pack furniture.
