This is a solid wood bed frame made from poplar wood with ply slats. It is FSC certified and made from sustainably sourced materials. The frame can hold up to 600 KG and the slats sit only 6 cm apart from each other for reliable support of heavier mattresses.

This was straight forward to assemble its doable as a one person build but is a bit easier with a helper. I used a sack barrow to move the boxes they are better thought of as a two person lift if you are older.
The unit was as described and appeared to be well made.

I bought the Raglan Oak bedframe and the Cook mattress in King Single size, as the rooms in my cottage are small. I am now enjoying the extra space this narrower size gives me.
I'm really loving my new bed - super comfortable and cosy - and sleeping better!

The Raglan Bed Frame is made from Poplar wood. It has a Poplar veneer finish & ply slats.
The Raglan Bed Frame takes approx 15 minutes to assemble!
Free standing headboards work great with the Raglan Bed Frame. Unfortunately there are no mounting points on the frame to attach a headboard to the frame itself.
There are 6cm gaps between each slat, they sit on top of a side rail which runs down each side of the bed frame.
Your Raglan Bed Frame will arrive with most of the tools required to assemble the bed frame. All you will need is a Phillips screwdriver.
Yes! All mattresses and frames are designed to fit each other. For example, any queen size mattress will fit any queen size bed frame (and likewise for each of the sizes we offer).
Yes! There is a centre support beam on all sizes of our Raglan Bed Frame aside from the single.
No you don’t need a drill. Assembly is quick and easy with the allen key provided. You’ll just need a Phillips screwdriver. But if you’re looking for a super speedy assembly, a drill will make it that much quicker!
Yes the Raglan Bed Frame can be disassembled easily. Simply reverse the instructions to disassemble the bed frame. This has been designed in a way to make moving as easy as possible.
No, our Raglan Bed Frame is made from hardwood and does not creak. It has been designed to eliminate any creaking, squeaking or rattling, even after years of use.
