Took me about 1 hour total to set up solo - The best part is the wooden slats, usually you have to spend time screwing these in but FlatpackCo makes it super easy with attachable pieces that just click right in.

easy enough to assemble - fabric looks great and structure ticks up nicely against the wall sits just high enough to hold the mattress while making tucking in sheets a breeze- good underbed space for storage

We recently purchased the Piha bedframe and the Tasman mattress. The purchase went seamlessly with quick and clear correspondence provided. Free freight was definitely a winner for us in the Tasman region. Delivery was as promised, within 12 days. The construction of the queen sized bed was fairly straight forward. I am a lady in my mid 50s and I managed relatively easily to carry the two packages up 3 flights of stairs. I also put the frame together by myself over a few wines and almost 2 hours. I could have done it a bit quicker to be fair. The mattress, although rolled and well packaged was to heavy for me to lift up the stairs alone. We have had a friend sleep in the bed for a few nights and they found it super comfy. The bed frame also looks lovely and us sturdy. Looking around prices for beds at other Companies I know we got a great bed for a really great price, super impressed. That you for the great quality product and awesome customer service. This frame is made from Ply Wood and Ply slats. It is finished with a light Beige coloured fabric.
The Piha Bed Frame takes approx 20 minutes to assemble!
There are 6cm gaps between each slat, they clip on to the top of a side rail which runs down each side of the bed frame.
Yes! All mattresses and frames are designed to fit each other. For example, any queen size mattress will fit any queen size bed frame (and likewise for each of the sizes we offer).
Yes! There is a centre support beam on all sizes of our Piha Bed Frame.
Your Piha Bed Frame will arrive with all of the tools required to assemble the bed frame!
Yes the Piha Bed Frame can be disassembled easily. Simply reverse the instructions to disassemble the bed frame. This has been designed in a way to make moving as easy as possible.
The headboard can not be detached. The headboard makes up a key part of the Bed Frames structure.
No, our Raglan Bed Frame is made from ply and does not creak. It has been designed to eliminate any creaking, squeaking or rattling, even after years of use.
