The Tasman Mattress is designed with a 30cm, 5-zoned pocket spring system. A pocket spring system is created coil systems that are individually wrapped and sewn into the mattress below a comfort layer. It is uniquely designed, allowing for weight distribution variances throughout the mattress on areas that need greater (think head and hips) or less (think feet) support.
This Plush finish provides soft, durable comfort without compromising on support. The Tasman mattress is finished with a plush layer of memory foam. The contouring memory foam works in perfect harmony with our motion-controlled pocket spring system, creating soft, dreamy comfort with all the support.
A textured layer of memory foam with a ridged design of peaks and valleys. This light layer allows for airflow and helps to align the spine and eliminate pressure for a resultful sleep. This in conjunction with our 5-Zone Pocket Spring system provides true ergonomic support while you sleep.

Our Tasman Mattress is 30cm in height and is designed to fit all standard NZ bed frame/base sizes (including our range!)

70 yr female, old saggy bed = poor sleep, sore pressure points, bent posture. Then injury strained arm shoulder! I needed a supportive new mattress, but wary of toxicity issues from previous attempts. This was a gift to someone that was in dire need of a new mattress. The description I received from them after they unboxed , deflated and set up their bed was . " Oh my god , I didn't realise how bad my current mattress was until I slept on this. It's like floating mid air , no longer do I have numb arms when I wake up and my hips are no longer sore In the morning , thank you for making me realise what I was missing out on. ' I would say that the description speaks for itself.

The first queen bed and mattress which I only unpacked two weeks ago waiting for house renovation to finish is fine , the king single I received a week or so is ok, the problem I have is in it had two headboards resulting in the foot end having an unsightly extra hole which I will have to fill,, regards,,

P.S. The Cook is medium firmness, the Milford is medium-firm firmness.
Yes, all of our mattresses are vacuum pressed, rolled and delivered to your door in a box.
Yes you can. The foam will take a few hours to completely expand but your mattress can be slept on straight away.
Once the mattress is taken out of the box and opened, it will no longer fit back into the box.
A mattress topper or protector is not necessary but will help extend the life of the mattress.
Yes this mattress along with all of our products comes with a 5 year warranty.
