The Tasman Mattress is designed with a 30cm, 5-zoned pocket spring system. A pocket spring system is created coil systems that are individually wrapped and sewn into the mattress below a comfort layer. It is uniquely designed, allowing for weight distribution variances throughout the mattress on areas that need greater (think head and hips) or less (think feet) support.
This Plush finish provides soft, durable comfort without compromising on support. The Tasman mattress is finished with a plush layer of memory foam. The contouring memory foam works in perfect harmony with our motion-controlled pocket spring system, creating soft, dreamy comfort with all the support.
A textured layer of memory foam with a ridged design of peaks and valleys. This light layer allows for airflow and helps to align the spine and eliminate pressure for a resultful sleep. This in conjunction with our 5-Zone Pocket Spring system provides true ergonomic support while you sleep.

This is a 30cm 5-zoned pocket spring mattress made using cotton, polyester, foam and other hypo allergenic materials. Once removing the Tasman mattress from it's box, it can be slept on straight away. You can learn more about this mattress by scrolling down.

I've just received the Tasman Queen Mattress; I had bought the Piha bed separately. My experience on both occasions was of exceptional communication and service. I was able to follow the (easy) instructions to get the mattress set up on my own. I've only had it one night but so far so good!. Oh, and I want to say that The Flatpack Co went out of their way to not only give me the bed/mattress discount but also an additional 10% deal that was running at the time. We bought the Tasman mattress after upgrading to a king size bed. Opted for the Tasman mattress due to the reviews. Great communication from their team to remind me that the it was a preorder and shipping date was later. Easy to assemble and I slept on it that night (at least two hours but less than 24h). So comfortable, firm but with give. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new mattress.

P.S. The Cook is medium firmness, the Milford is medium-firm firmness.
Yes, all of our mattresses are vacuum pressed, rolled and delivered to your door in a box.
Yes you can. The foam will take a few hours to completely expand but your mattress can be slept on straight away.
Once the mattress is taken out of the box and opened, it will no longer fit back into the box.
A mattress topper or protector is not necessary but will help extend the life of the mattress.
Yes this mattress along with all of our products comes with a 5 year warranty.
